Cheryl Bardoe

Cheryl Bardoe has a 20-year career serving mission-driven organizations with an emphasis on the nonprofit and education sectors. While on staff at Chicago’s Field Museum, she crafted text and strategies to reach varied audiences, through multiple formats, to deliver complex messages ranging from scientific discoveries to daily operations policies. As a consultant, Cheryl has written websites, magazine articles, admission viewbooks, advertising copy, fundraising materials, video scripts, and centennial coffee table books. She has long been connected with the independent school world as a parent, a faculty spouse, a visiting teacher, and a professional writer. She has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and an MFA in creative writing from Hamline University. Cheryl is also an award-winning author of children’s literature.
