Peter
graphic and web designer
Peter grew up immersed in art. He sat at his father’s feet as the elder Blossom, a talented illustrator, crafted movie posters, book jackets, and magazine covers in his studio. Occasionally his father would let him add a brushstroke of his own to a painting.
After studying English, economics, music, and art at the University of Connecticut, his design career began at Globe Pequot and the Lyons Press, where he designed book covers as his father did before him. He also spent a decade as the graphic designer at American Cruise Lines.
After almost eight years at Good Design, Peter is known for doing great work quickly. He especially appreciates being able to help clients reorganize their website to make good information easier to find. He loves combining art and technology to tell clients’ stories well.
In the evenings and weekends, Pete continues with his other artistic pursuit — a lifelong love of playing guitar. Over the years, he has played in blues, rock, rhythm & blues, folk, Irish, and country bands. He especially loves getting paid.
