The Harvey School Digital Annual Fund
With a 100-year history, The Harvey School in Katonah, NY, has a strong school community that spans generations. In recent fundraising initiatives, Harvey has observed that an increasing number of donors prefer to receive appeals online, where the opportunity to click-through and donate is instantaneous. Yet other Harvey supporters still prefer to respond to a print piece that arrives in traditional mailboxes.
For the Annual Fund campaign, Good Design provided the best of both worlds. First, we created a classic print brochure for mailing. Then we created two versions of an interactive electronic publication to target Harvey’s digital appeal to the specific audience interests of current families and alumni. The digital format combines strong visuals with powerful text so that viewers read each screen as instantly as they look at it. The result is a story that grabs viewers’ attention, keeps their attention, and leads them to action.
